Certification, Surveillance and Recertification procedure

Certification

  • Request ‐ Initiate the general audit certification process
  • Proposal ‐ After analyzing the standards, the scope of certification and the number of employees, the certification proposal is sent regarding. costs and the number of audit days
  • Sending Certification Guide ‐ Potential customers are informed about the certification procedure and the requirements for issuing the. certificate
  • Certification agreement, contract ‐ After signing the certification application and the contract, each requirement of the client will be fulfilled before the certification starts.
  • Drawing the Audit Plan and designing the Audit team - Audit planning and the audit team components will be made according to the certification scope, the program and the competence of the auditors.
  • Audit - Stage 1 audit is performed to verify the client management system documents. The purpose of Stage 2 of the audit is to evaluate the implementation, including the effectiveness of the management system. The audit stage 2 will take place at the customer's premises. A copy of each audit report will be provided.
  • Verification - G‐CERTI will issue a written decision or comments on the eligibility of each customer to continue certification after receiving the audit report.

Surveillance

  • Request - The date of the first surveillance audit after the initial certification audit should be performed not be more than 12 months from the last day of the 2nd stage audit. A copy of each surveillance report shall be provided.
  • Verification - G‐CERTI will issue a written decision or comments on the eligibility of each customer to continue certification after receiving the surveillance audit report.

Recertification

  • Request - A recertification audit is conducted every 3 years and will be performed within the validity term of the certificate.
